Turkish turban means a lot amongst its wearers in various regions all over the globe. In some nations, it forms part of national cloth as a way of appreciating and identifying its significance. In such nations, a majority of the residents wear the headband. Some of the nations where dastar wearing is accorded more meaning are Afghanistan, Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, and countries in the Middle East.

In countries where turbans form part of the national garment, individuals who do not tie them are treated with great stigma from the community. In most cases, their security is at stake since they become easy targets for attacks. They are regarded as non-believers who are not worth living among the believers. Such like accusations are usually unfounded and misguided.

Paggs are referred to differently in various regions. Some of the names are bulle, pagg, pagri, Punjabi, and dastar. It is believed that pagris have existed in many regions worldwide only that they varied in forms. In religious denominations where they have been worn for the a long time like in Sikhism, they function as a unique identifier for the disciples of the faith.

Dastars are wrapped by all age groups and genders. This may be an indication that gender equality is valued greatly in Sikhism and among other pagg wearers. Ladies may either wrap a pagg alone or they could wind a traditional scarf over it. Some ladies opt to use only the traditional scarf without a pagri. Kids also have their specific styles or paggs that are unique.

A pagri may be worn for several purposes including complimenting a given look. The dastar is worn with a given piece of clothing, which it matches nicely with. Women are known to be bigger fans of matching turbans with an outfit than men. They select the color carefully and sometimes they even invent their own new styles of tying the pagg.

Dastars are available in different colors. The colors have various meanings, which are unique to every community. Some believe that green is the color of heaven and therefore green turbans should be worn in funerals. In most cases, red turbans are worn in wedding ceremonies, birthday parties, and other celebrations. Longer turbans are worn on official occasions such as when attending business meetings.

Every individual in the world today has at least dealt with a turbaned person in one way or the other. It is time for everyone to be acquainted with paggs irrespective of their background. Treating paggs just like any other piece of garment is actually one method of guaranteeing peaceful coexistence between non-pagri wearers and the wearers. People must have respect for the universal right of others such as the right to dress up in whatever garments one finds suitable for them.

Turkish turban may be bought from local beauty shops or clothing lines where they are sold at lower prices. If one, it not happy with whatever is sold from the local outlets then they may go for the services of universal online sellers.
